Renkara Media Group was founded in 2008 in Chicago, Illinois. What started as a technology company building educational apps for the iPhone evolved over nearly two decades into an AI and machine learning engineering company focused on a single problem: making expertise accessible to everyone.
That evolution led to AVIAN — our proprietary adaptive learning engine. It observes how each learner interacts with content, identifies what they know and what they don't, and continuously adapts to deliver the most efficient path to mastery. No two learners see the same experience.
We filed our first provisional patent in October 2025 and followed with 26 additional patent applications covering everything from domain knowledge synthesis to federated multi-node deployments. The portfolio now encompasses 27 filings and 593 claims across the full adaptive learning stack.
